Welcome to Doriot Books, a website which took sixty years to create!
I have wanted to be an author since the second grade and have been writing my entire life. Seven years ago, I began taking all my ideas and stories and transformed them into books I could share with you.
Please note there are two paths for you to choose - Books For All Ages and Ghost Stories. Enter Books For All Ages for my children's books and poetry. Enter Ghost Stories for, yep you guessed it, ghost stories and thrillers.
When my father first read Dr. Seuss to me, I wanted to be him. As I got a little older, my father introduced me to Edger Allen Poe and I wanted to write stories like him. My stories and books still reflect those early desires and influences.
I think you'll enjoy either path you choose. Thank you so much for reading my books and encouraging me along the journey. I love your feedback so please leave a review on Amazon (it helps my books become easier to find in their system). Also, don't hesitate to contact me via email - I'm happy to discuss any aspect of my books with you!
Check out my latest short story published in The Dread Literary Review magazine. As you can guess from the title of the magazine, things may go bump in the night in these stories. My story, The Mercy Brown Vampire Hoax, was based upon a real event which occurred in the 1800’s with the Brown family. I just added a little “unknown fact” which failed to be reported the first time.
Honored to have some of my poetry on this ezine - I highly encourage folks to check out this magazine, not just for my poetry but for all the poetry in each issue. The magazine is free to all and I make no money at all - it is the passion of this publisher to have a magazine which offers words of hope and inspiration to those who are ill
